Eye Camp

We had a Medical camp in Bhensavahi village, of which a major part was the Eye camp. 

It was the first time we were conducting something like this. On conducting the camp we found out that many senior citizens, as well as young kids, were suffering from a change in their eye numbers and some of them were unaware if they had an eye number. Few of them had a blur vision and were advised for the cataract operation and follow-ups with the doctor. 

We had limited resources so we couldn’t do much in a single day camp, but we felt satisfied by giving them the correct guidelines for their Eyes. 

We gave them spectacles for free and those who could afford it took it in half the price.

In the future, we are planning for more such camps on a larger scale so that more people can benefit from it.

Overall it was a wonderful experience and a very needed task accomplished.
